Paul

Four decades in the construction industry. Yet, amidst the physicality of the trade, a different

passion ignited within me—a desire to impart knowledge and skill to the next generation.

For over twenty years, I’ve dedicated myself to training apprentices. The transition from

skilled tradesman to educator was natural; the satisfaction of witnessing raw talent blossom

into expertise is a reward unparalleled. New Zealand and Australia have been my classrooms,

where I’ve shared my experiences, honed their skills, and ignited their passion for the trade.

My journey as a trainer has been enriched by qualifications

  • Cert IV TAE

  • Cert III in Painting and Decorating

  • Cert I Construction

  • EWP’s Boom/Scissor Lifts

  • Working at Heights

I’ve collaborated with numerous RTOs, including CRICOS, to shape comprehensive

training programs.

But the true measure of success isn’t in certificates or accolades; it’s in the accomplishments

of my students. Recently, I experienced a pinnacle of this fulfilment. One of my apprentices,

a young women, was crowned Apprentice of the Year 2024. Seeing her stand on that stage, a

symbol of excellence in her field, was a moment of profound pride. It was a testament to

countless hours of shared learning, of challenges overcome, and of a passion ignited. Her

success was my success, a reflection of the countless hours invested in nurturing her

potential.

As a dedicated mother and supportive family member, I’ve balanced raising children with

administrative roles within our family business, including accounting. Several years ago, I

transitioned into teaching English to foreign language students.

A few years back I was involved in teaching foreign language students to master English.

  • Cert IV in TESOL

This experience, coupled with my Certificate IV in TESOL, has equipped me with valuable

skills. I find great satisfaction in working with young people and am proud to be part of a

family team dedicated to guiding students towards successful career paths.
